The Order of Christian Initiation for Adults — OCIA — is designed for persons ages 16 and older who seek to enter the way of faith and conversion. It includes the catechetical formation and ritual steps to prepare for the celebration of the Sacraments of Baptism, Confirmation and Eucharist. This process is adapted for baptized Christians seeking to be received into the full communion of the Catholic Church, as well as baptized Catholics seeking Confirmation and/or Eucharist. The entire parish supports Inquirers, Catechumens, and Candidates through prayer, liturgical celebration, fellowship, and serving as sponsors.
