Below are a few of the most often utilized methods for Communications and their individual guidelines.
Bulletin
If you would like to advertise an event in our bulletin, please email This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.. Here are some guidelines for publicity in our bulletin:
- Request must be made by the Thursday, ten (10) days in advance of the requested bulletin.
- We are unable to publicize for-profit events in our bulletin.
- Publicity if only for events that benefit the entire All Saints Catholic Community.
- If you have graphics, email the .jpg or .png images to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.. Please leave approximately 10% of the border free of graphics or text so that we can crop the image to fit our bulletin spaces.
- Recommended sizes for the bulletin:
- Full page (portrait): 7.75"(W) x 9"(H)
- 1/2 page (landscape): 7.75"(W) x 4.5"(H)
- 1/4 page (portrait): 3.875"(W) x 4.5"(H)
- Square not recommended
Monitors
If you would like to publicize your event on the monitors around the Church, email This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.. Here are some guidelines for publicity on the monitors:
- Same guidelines for the bulletin apply to the monitors.
- Please allow for 3 days prior to presentation on the monitors.
- Optimum size for placing on the monitors is 1920(W) x 940(H) px, otherwise the graphic will be shrunk to fit the monitor.
- Please let us know when to start and end the publicity.
Flocknote
Emails are publicized to the All Saints Catholic Community two (2) times a week: Wednesdays at 3pm and Saturdays at 3pm. In some cases those times may slightly change. Here are some guidelines for publicizing via the Flocknotes:
- Same guidelines for the bulletin apply to the Flocknotes.
- Please provide 3 days prior to posting to Flocknotes.
- Please provide graphics that you would like posted.
- Please provide verbiage you would like posted with your graphic.
- Please let us know when to start and end the publicity.
Social Media
Our main method for publicizing to social media is through Instagram and Facebook. We generally publicize three days per week. Here are some guidelines for social media:
- Make sure every person in an image has agreed to allow posting of their picture.
- Provide 3 days notice prior to posting. Let us know when to start publicizing. We will leave the post online unless you tell us to take it down.
- Here are optimum sizes for images on social media depending on its use:
- Instagram Reel: 1080 x 920 px (portrait)
- Instagram Post: 1080 x 1080 px (square)
- Facebook Post: 940 x 788 px (landscape)
- Facebook Video: 1080 x 1080 px (square)
