Deacon Mark Venincasa
Permanent Deacon

Deacon Mark Venincasa was born in Englewood, NJ, less than ten miles from Yankee Stadium. His father Louis Venincasa, and his mother Geri Venincasa, were founding parishioners of All Saints after the family moved to Dallas in January 1976. Deacon Mark attended Westwood Junior High, Pearce High School (Class of 1979), Texas A&M University (Class of 1983), UT Health Dental School in San Antonio, and the University of Dallas Neuhoff School of Ministry for a Master’s Degree in Theological Studies in 2019.

Deacon Mark met his wife Lisa in the All Saints Singles Group, and they married at All Saints in January 1991. In the summer of 1991, Lisa and Deacon Mark moved to Prince of Peace Catholic Community, where they had a Catholic School for their eventual five children: Andrew, Katie, Paul, Patrick, and Robert. Four of their five attended John Paul II High School.

Deacon Mark and Lisa attended their CRHP retreats in March 2007 at Prince of Peace. This experience was the “springboard” towards his faith renewal and ministerial activities; he was a parish acolyte since 2008, a Prince of Peace CRHP Spiritual Director in 2008, a Good Shepherd Catholic Community of Colleyville CRHP founding Spiritual Director in 2010, and he began his diaconate formation within the Diocese of Dallas in 2014. His Ordination into the Permanent Diaconate occurred on June 20, 2020, at St. Francis Catholic Church in Frisco, Texas, where he was assigned by Bishop Burns back to All Saints! Deacon Mark and Lisa are very excited to be back “home" and to be a part of this wonderfully vibrant faith community!
