Dear All Saints Family,

Greetings and blessings to you all in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ!

Our two campuses, All Saints Catholic Church and All Saints Catholic School, make up one, single body: All Saints Catholic Community. We are so blessed to have these two centers of parish life, and I give thanks to God and to the pioneers of this community for building up the incredible body that is All Saints. The distance between these campuses and a number of other obstacles over the years have made it challenging to act and feel as a single community. But we continue to strive to bridge that gap; to bring about in our own community the kind of visible unity that Christ prayed for during the Last Supper in John 17:21.

While we have made a lot of progress towards this goal in recent years, one very visible element of division has remained: the two separate logos, styles, and brands for each campus.

It will probably not come as a surprise that we hear comments- from parishioners and non-parishioners alike- that they had no idea the Church had a school, or that they’ve driven by this school for years and never knew it was related to this Church. No matter how excellent our efforts to act as one community, if we do not appear united from the starting line, how will we be able to truly live as one? And how will we be able to show those around us the kind of unity that Christ wants in His Church if the first thing people see about our community is something visibly divided?

So today, I am excited to share that we are overcoming this obstacle as well. After much prayer and careful consultation with members of our community and industry professionals about the above questions, we are transitioning towards a unified, community-wide branding. We have taken the best of what we already have and crafted something greater that will visually show the kind of community that we are.

This change is being made with full honor for our community’s past, in the interest of building it up for the future. I invite you to look through the timeline below of our community’s history, especially the various logos we have had over the years: the Praisers, the school crest, the 40th Anniversary, and the new look today.

The details of the new logo elegantly capture the essence of our community. Both pieces of our community are gathered behind the Cross, symbolizing our unity in Christ and His One Church. The shield comes from the school’s crest, while the cross is pulled from the Church’s existing branding (and this version of the Jerusalem cross originally comes from the front of our Tabernacle.) Additionally, the colors red and blue are incorporated from the School’s current branding, with the red and gold from the Church’s, tying our shared identity together. Modern and versatile fonts are used to make the logo adaptable for more varied purposes, and the overall design becomes a simple but recognizable symbol of our cherished community within our Diocese and the wider Dallas-Fort Worth area.

Please rest assured that this transition will be a gradual one, especially concerning our facilities. School uniforms will remain as they are for this school year and future changes will be carefully introduced over the coming years to avoid any additional cost for families. You will, however, begin to see this new look around both campuses, in our communications, and elsewhere, right away.

I pray that this visible sign may strengthen and give legitimacy to all the ongoing efforts being made to bring our two campuses closer as one true community. In all these efforts, please join me in continuously praying for the growth and unity of our All Saints Catholic Community.

Remain Blessed,
