Mary Ellen Meza
Mary Ellen Meza has over 40 of experience in the retail industry in both store management and merchandising. She has managed and contributed to teams for department, discount, big box, and specialty stores as well as catalog and ecommerce operations. Her career in sourcing and product development allowed her to travel and successfully negotiate contracts for products all over the world. She is recently retired from EduKit, a small business located in Colorado Springs that sources and builds school supply packs for elementary and middle schools. There, she was a member of the leadership team and held various posts including Procurement Manager and IT manager. Mary Ellen transitioned from procurement to IT where she was able to employ her skills as a manager and team leader to deploy a new website as well as transition the company to a new ERP and CRM system. She holds a BA degree in English from De Sales University in Center Valley, PA, and an additional BS degree from Colorado Technical University in Colorado Springs.
Mary Ellen is married and enjoys spending time traveling and visiting with her sons and grandchildren. She is lifelong Catholic and member of the All Saints Parish since 2018 when she moved to Dallas with her husband, Peter. She has hired, trained, and coached many entry and mid-level employees throughout the course of her career, and is looking forward to encouraging and coaching those who are navigating important transitions in their work and life.
