Hello! My name is Alayna Felty and I am overjoyed to join the ASCS community this year!

While I am originally from Louisiana, I have now lived the majority of my life in the great State of Texas. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Information Science from the University of North Texas. This upcoming December I will be completing a Masters in Library Science from Louisiana State University. My passion and joy of reading were shaped by an incredible support system of Catholic teachers in my formative years.

This will be my second year in education and my first year in 4th grade. I have previously taught ELAR in Dallas ISD, and been a Librarian for the City of McKinney! In my free time, I enjoy spending time with friends, traveling, and reading all types of genres.
